Our Background

ThePlasticBrick.com was started in August 2010 with little more than a few hundred dollars and a handful of sets from collector and creator, Ryan Hafer. Since then it has evolved into a full service web-based store; we provide a wide variety of new, used, and out of production sets to collectors, parents, and kids across the world. We have sold nearly 10,000 sets, which is more than 2,700,000 pieces and 25,000 minifigures!

Location

ThePlasticBrick.com is located in Perry, Michigan, United States. Our mailing address is:

How It Works

ThePlasticBrick.com operates as an unofficial dealer in LEGO® brand sets. We purchase collections and individual sets from accross the United States & Canada. Every LEGO set is then processed individually to ensure authenticity, condition and completeness.

First, we inspect every used LEGO set. We are looking to make sure that all the pieces are in acceptable condition, that all pieces are present, and that there are not any non-LEGO brand pieces mixed in with the set. The process is time consuming, but we believe that it is critical to providing our customers with the best used LEGO buying experience.

Secondly, sets are listed with current market value in mind. Our customers easily add to their collections without spending great amounts of time sorting through over-priced sets on Amazon, eBay, and other sites.

100% Complete Guarantee**

Because we inspect every set for completeness and quality, we can stand behind our work. Mistakes do occur when you work with 100,000's of pieces, but if you are missing a piece or find a broken piece or find a non-LEGO piece, ThePlasticBrick.com will gladly send out a replacement piece(s) to make sure that your experience is made right.

In certain and very rare cases, we may ask you to return the set completely.

NOTE: (1) Always build the set to the end of the instructions before determining whether or not a piece is missing. (2) Stickers may be located in the pages of the instructions. (3) Plastic and Cloth sails, capes, etc. may be located in the pages of the instructions. If you need a replacement, feel free to contact us here ▶

**Sets that are not 100% complete guaranteed will have note of any discrepancy in the set description.

Shipping

All sets are carefully packed to make sure that the sets arrive undamaged and in best possible condition. Boxes are not broken down further than the condition that we received them in. Instructions are only folded in the manner that they arrived.

Used sets are disassembled and packed into resealable plastic bags. We are unable to keep pieces separated into their original LEGO bag numbers.

We recycle materials whenever possible to (1) reduce the cost of shipping for our customers and (2) reduce the footprint of selling items via the internet.

Orders are typically processed within a few business days.

International Shipping: We offer internional shipping through our shopping cart system. Add the items that you want, and you should see a shipping quote before checking out. International payments can only be made through PayPal. If you have any special concerns, please contact us here ▶

Returns

We work very hard to reduce the necessity of returns, but sometimes they are unavoidable. We may charge a 20% restocking fee because a returned set must still be checked for authenticity and completeness. If you wish to return a set or order, please contact us here ▶
